2020 Season Reopening Update

Dear Chino Hills Little League Families,

We hope this communication finds you all happy and healthy. In early May, the CHLL Board of Directors met remotely and voted on a date when our Spring Season would have to start by in order to proceed. That date, was today, June 13th. Many things have changed since then and are continuing to evolve weekly, and even daily. Just this week, District 23 met with the League President’s to provide some consistent guidelines for resuming the season beyond June. At this time, youth sports have not been approved by the County of San Bernardino or the City of Chino Hills. Also, this past week, our League Safety Director prepared a plan for our league to resume the season, if granted permission by the County and the City. We continue to work towards the goal of seeing our players finish the Spring 2020 Season. Taking all of this into account, the Board of Directors have decided to continue efforts to resuming the season beyond our previously voted on June 13th date. We promise to keep all of our families informed and hope to know more from the City on the opening of parks sometime after the 4th of July holiday. Thank you for all of your patience during these unprecedented times.
