COVID-19 League Update - Season Postponed to May 1st, 2020

Dear parents and players of Chino Hills Little League,

As many of you may be aware, on March 19th our governor, Gavin Newsom, issued a statewide shelter-in-place order because of the increasing cases of COVID-19 in the United States. In efforts to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our players, coaches and families, the Chino Hills Little League board has decided that it is in our leagues best interest to temporarily suspend our 2020 season until May 1st. This is in no way cancelling the season and we have every intention of doing everything possible to ensure that we can provide everyone with a full spring season. The board thanks everyone for their understanding and on this matter and looks forward to seeing everyone on our return.

We encourage everyone to follow the best practices as outlined by the CDC, w
hich include washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds if soap and water are not available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer; avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands; and avoid close contact with people who are sick.

We would also encourage you all to limit close, physical contact with others (including shaking hands).

As the situation continues to develop, we will do our best to keep all league volunteers and families informed.

Sincerely,

Chino Hills Little League
