The City purchased new pitching mounds for
fields 3 and 4. They have been reinforced in
an effort to extend the longevity. As a result,
the City has implemented a no metal cleats
policy on all pitching mounds. Pitchers are
required to bring extra turf shoes in the event
they are summoned to pitch. Metal cleats are
allowed on the field of play, if permitted by
the division rules.

The board voted unanimously to adopts the
dropped 3rd strike rule for Spring 2012. The
Rule will apply to the Majors Division for the
entire season and for the AAA Division
starting at the half way point in the season.

Saturday. The clinic was conducted by
Caira's Cages and was one of our best clinics
in years. Joe Caira and his staff of instructors
provided some great drills to help our teams
prepare themselves for the upcoming Spring
